About
Wild Care is a place where art doesn't hang on walls — it happens between people. We create spaces for movement, touch and a different way of being together — right here in Graz.
From Our Manifesto
We create temporary, safe spaces — micro-utopias — where we can practise a different way of being together. It's not the finished artwork that matters, but what happens between us.
Wild Care — Association for Art as Living Social Practice
The People Behind It
Dancer · Music & Dance Educator
Verena brings years of experience in dance and education. Her approach is playful and welcoming — she creates spaces where people feel brave enough to move and connect. Her role at Wild Care keeps evolving, just like the association itself.
Dancer · Yoga Teacher · Founder
Fabio weaves together Contact Improvisation, yoga and philosophy. Inspired by Martin Buber's philosophy of dialogue — the idea that we only truly find ourselves through genuine encounter with another — he explores how body practice can become an attitude of care and attention.
„Alles wirkliche Leben ist Begegnung.“
Martin Buber — “All real living is meeting.”
Our Approach
Wild Care is neither a conventional dance studio nor a therapy space. We move at the intersection of art, body work and social togetherness.
Our approach is simple: when we learn to perceive our own bodies with awareness and meet others with openness, it changes more than just the dance — it changes how we move through the world.
Art doesn't emerge in isolation — it arises between people. What matters is the moment of encounter, not the outcome.
Some things can only be understood by feeling them. We learn through movement, touch and doing things together — not just through words.
Care is more than a feeling. It shows up in concrete action: honouring boundaries, making space, looking out for one another — in the dance and in everyday life.
